Since meeting at the Hanns Eisler School of Music, Sebastian Caspar (violin, guitar, vocals) and Michael Riemer (guitar, double bass, electronics) have been performing as the duo Wild Strings. In their original compositions and arrangements, they blend classical music, improvisation, and electronic elements into a harmonious kaleidoscope. As founding members of the Stegreif Orchestra and longtime Live Music. Now fellows, they create innovative concert formats. Their performances have taken them to renowned stages and festivals, including Stanford University in San Francisco, the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, the Ludwigsburg Festival, the Thüringer Bachwochen, and the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. They have also performed at Schloss Bellevue, Nikolaisaal Potsdam, and the Experience House in Guatemala and Morocco
